The handlebar mount will require about 30mm (1 3/16 inch)of space on the handle bar. This mount may not work on all bikes due to the fact that there is not much room on many of the sportbikes with clip-ons with all the OEM controls and switches in place. That being said mounting may have to be more creative. The unit is small and light (under 4oz) so fabricating a mount should not be an issue.
